Fundraising for MS Society

My Story
Le Challenge
My challenge is to raise funds and awareness for the MS Society by spending 4 days on my bike in June 2027 riding 300 miles from London to Paris. I have no doubt that this will be very testing. Long days on the bike. All sorts of potential weather to deal with. Hills, fatigue, self-doubt. All these things plus the long hours and miles of training will test me.
But these are nothing in comparison to the everyday challenge that Multiple Sclerosis presents to those many thousands of people who live with the illness! One such person is my amazing sister-in-law, Lorraine. She has been living with MS for many years and is a permanent inspiration to me. She refuses to be defined by the illness and fights through the pain and many obstacles that present to her each and every day. Lorraine never complains in spite of the challenges and she takes them head on. She even took part in a sky dive for the MS Society alongside me 6 years ago!
Sadly, Lorraine cannot ride with me to Paris. But she will be actively supporting my efforts and is planning on being in Paris to welcome me at the end of the long ride.
We live in difficult times and finances are stretched thin for all of us. But charities like the MS Society do amazing and essential work in supporting people like Lorraine. They are only able to do so because of the generosity of people like you making donations. Any amounts that you feel able to donate will not only be gratefully received but will make genuine and essential contributions to the vital work that the MS Society does in researching the disease, supporting those living with it and spreading awareness amongst our communities.
Donating is easy. Just click on the "Donate now" button and follow the prompts.
Thank you so much!!
